When Afghan Crib arrived, I opened the package and was impressed with the solid packaging which insured Afghan Crib didn’t arrive damaged in any way, shape, or form.
Overall, my experience was amazing. I hope this helps you make a solid buying decision.
Okay, am I going about night time wrong with my 10 month old? She sleeps, what are people complaining about?
The lecturing has begun, friends and family telling me how I should be putting my child to sleep at night. I don't understand. My baby has been sleeping 7-10 hours a night since she was 6 weeks old. And although I increased the amount of food she gets before bed I have Afghan Crib not deviated from my pattern. Turn the living room lights off, give her her bottle in her bouncy chair, burp her, and then either tap the bouncy chair or put her into her swing until she falls asleep. I start this process at 8:30pm, and usually by 9:30pm she is asleep. Then I stop bouncing her and grab her up and take her up to her crib and put her in and cover her up with an afghan blanket, and that's it. What am I doing wrong? Why are people telling me I HAVE to let her cry herself to sleep? Or I have to put her in her crib while she is still awake. She wakes up maybe 2 times a month in the middle of the night and I rock her back to sleep. No more 2 am feedings or anything like that. So, am I messing up? Am I really doing something wrong?

Burp cloths/spit rags. I’ve only needed gas drops for 1 of my babies, so you may want to hold off and see if you actually need them. They are a bit expensive! I also bought 3 different types of pacifiers because some babies prefer different types. And they will get lost!! So once you know which type baby likes, buy more of them. I would get a sling or sponge for the tub.

I never needed the gas drops either so I think I’d skip those. Burp cloths, more receiving blankets (unless you want to wash frequently) since they are great for swaddling, a boppy pillow (or a less expensive model) for breast-feeding, breast pads to help you with leaking, a comfortable nursing bra or two if you don’t already have that. You may want to pick up a baby brush and comb and medicine dropper too. . I don’t know that I saw a stroller or high chair mentioned anywhere in your posting either. OH and a bouncy seat is always wonderful too! Make sure that you have batteries on hand for a swing, bouncy and your camera. In my experience, you’ll want to buy various sizes of batteries. That’s about all I can think of for now, but I’ll edit if I can think of something else!!
