Overall, the Crocheted Baby was great, and I have no problem recommending Crocheted Baby for anyone wanting one. LOVE THIS Crocheted Baby
Should I be using pure cotton in a crocheted baby blanket?
I love the feel of cotton, but Crocheted Baby some other pretty yarn that I have is acrylic and just as soft. I rarely use any manmade materials. I would like to finish it but don't want to spend extra money on organic yarn.

You could probably get away with putting them in a padded envelope and shipping USPS regular mail. Also, if you go to the Post Office, all of the Priority boxs and envelopes are free. Since your stuff is probably pretty light, it would cost about $4.60 and get to the destination FAST.

Lion Brand yarn has the following head sizes for a headband pattern they have.Head size: 9 (13, 18, 20) inches [23, 33, 46, 51 cm]. preemie, newborn, 9 mos. and 24 mos.

Those sizes seem about right. I knit with a group knitting hats for newborns, and we are aiming at 14″ to 15″ in circumference to fit babies in the 8- to 10-pound range. The length is typically 5.5″ to 6″. So you’re crocheting in the same ballpark where the group I knit with is knitting. One thing is sure–a bit too big is better than any amount too small, because they are going to grow!
