I hope you find these listings helpful. If you are like me, you need a little bit on information before making a buying decision. Here’s a description of Crochet Doily for you.
I have a crocheted, cotton doily from the 30s-40s that has mildew stains in the center. It's about 8" in
diameter. Crochet Doily The outer edges, about 1/2 " are yellow cotton, the stained part is white. I have washed it normally with bleach but it didn't work. Is there any way I can restore this? It was made by my Grandma and I treasure it. Thanks.

Rnd 16) Sl st over to center of next sp; ch 1, sc in same sp, ch 5, sc in next sp, ch 2, (3 dc) in next dc, dc in next 3 dc, (3 dc) in next dc, ch 2, sc in next ch 5 sp, ch 5, sc in next sp, ch 5, dc dec over next 4 dc, ch 5; * sc in next sp, ch 5, sc in next sp, ch 2, (3 dc) in next dc, dc in next 3 dc, (3 dc) in next dc, ch 2, sc in next ch 5 sp, ch 5, sc in next sp, ch 5, dc dec over next 4 dc, ch 5; rep from * around; ending with ch 1, dc in first sc forming last sp on rnd: 16 dec/32 ch 5-sps/16 ch 2-sps/8 hearts.~~~ Ok, what you do is the last place where you normally would ch 5, you just chain 1, then YO, make a dc in the 1st sc of round 16. That will set you up for round 17, it’s an easier and cleaner way to get to the next round without having to make alot of slip stitches to get set up for the next round, make sense now???
Good luck!!!
