What does this mean........................?
I've kept an eye on my friend's relationship with a guy and I'm getting ideas that something is wrong. 1: She dyed her hair once, pink, and he said to her face that he didn't like it.2: She got a tattoo of the name of her brother who died and he did not like it. That day, he rolled his eyes, tried to act happy in pictures. I wasn't there, but I saw videos and pictures taken, it seemed that he hated that.3: She went to the theaters with him, but she probably wanted to be home, working on costumes for a holloween party. My sister used the word "forced," but she was probably joking. 4: She knows how to crochet. And she likes it. Her boyfriend said to her face that he thinks it's dumb.5: He jokes about hitting her. 6: She finished a scarf and after a few minutes, (there was a inflatable bed near the couches) she wanted to hangout with her best friend, (my sister), on it. A minute later, I came over to her and congratulated her on finishing the scarf. Her boyfriend was on the couch ten Crochet Costume feet away. A couple of minutes, he walked over, at first, it seemed like he looked out the window for people who were late but he then laid down next to her, taking his side of the bed. Breaking up what we were doing. I am still debating on what this means.7: I have noticed that a LOT of the time, he follows her and holds her a LOT. (Like around the shoulder, arm around her lower back.) No matter where they are. If she's brushing her teeth in the bathroom, he'd go over. He constantly does it.8: One time, he didn't want to come over to her house because he didn't feel like it. She decided to go over just to make him happy. No one went anywhere, though because of an accident. And to make things interesting, he lives an hour and a half away from her house.9: There was one time, where someone made a mess in the kitchen, and some of us didn't want her to see it because she'd clean it up. We didn't want her to. She kept looking over to see, and her boyfriend pushed her back down. With some force. 10: One time at my house, there's a mat in the kitchen, which is comfy, and he was standing on it, and wanted her to try it. At first, she didn't here him, and he responded with a much deeper, mean voice. 11: He has done this over half a dozen times, where he would, seemingly innocently done, come over to where me and her were talking, pretending I'm not even around, start talking to her. One time, I was standing a few feet behind her, asking how she was, and he came over. Said hi, and turned his back toward me. Cutting me off.12: We were outside, my friend locked herself out of her car. She was on the phone when I tried to be funny by using her boyfriend as a shield against the cold air. Is siad something similar to this: "Actually, I'm over to (Her). I think she's talking about me."13: There was one time, where we were at a lake, I found and picked a tiny flower and gave it to her. He glared at me and then laughed and said he was joking. Now, my family tells me that I read into things too much. I think it's true.If there's something wrong, please point them out.

You really need to do some footwork on this. :) First read this: http://www.cet.com/~pennys/faq/smfaq.htmThen make a list of all the features you need. I do a lot of the type of sewing you want to do, and my list of essentials reads:Easy to control: MUST sew really slowly!Impeccable straight stitchexcellent buttonholesexcellent blind hem (with adjustable blind hem foot)drop feeddogs for freemotion quiltingexcellent three-step zigzagmultiple needle positionseyelet plate for laced bodices/corsetsStitches through multiple layers of Denim/curtain fabric with easeThe machine also needs to be heavy enough not to be dragged off the table by a heavy skirt (I’ve had this happen: NOT a pretty end for a machine!)Take you list and some sample fabrics down to the sewing machine shop and test all the machines the engineer (NOT a sales droid – the person who fixes up the broken machines!) recommends. Remember that you can often get a really good deal in a used machine…For MOST of my custom work I use a Husqvarna Lily 550. This has the essential eyelet plate as an accessory, and does 10 different button holes. I’ve sewn through the solid head of a safety pin without harming it. It’s now well out of date, but still tough as any new electronic machine you can find. A few turn up here and there in the pre-loved machine market. It was a Top Of The Line non-embroidery machine in its day, with a list price close to £1100 when I bought it 10 years ago. There really is no need to go to all that expense: I rarely use many of the 240 stitches! I DO use the buttonholes, and to get that many, you need to look at a fairly pricey electronic machine. However, a Bernina 1008 will do 90% of what you want for about £475. It’s a lovely mechanical machine, easy to use, and I use a 1005 (slightly older model with fewer stitches) for teaching both adults and kids.A cheap, light weight machine will not cope with the type of fabrics, the bulk, and the weight of things like costumes and quilts. The number of pre-programmed is not at all important. What is more important is the quality of the stitching.

I love CATS! I would go to a thrift store and find a big old coat that goes to my knees then go to a Walwart and get those pool noodles and paint them brown with stripes and attach them to the jacket.I tried to find a makeup tutorial, but they don’t have Jennyanydots, but they do have basic instructions here:http://members.tripod.com/~grittlebone/makeupmain.html

if you are simply looking to learn how to crochet…i suggest this websight http://www.crochet.org/lessons/lesson.htmlthen choose either right-handed, or left-handed…this sight is good. it has a lot of picture and diagrams.or go to any craft store and buy a beginner’s guide to crochet.

Free crochet instructions for a beautiful 1915 style Venetian Motif with pattern instructions for making these into a collar, can be printed out free from this web page: http://crochet.about.com/library/weekly/aa061999.htm It’s an authentic style of the year 1915 and would be wonderful on a period costume.

I like the Minnie Mouse or Lady Bug idea.I have boy/girl twins – we are making our own costumes, too – they are going to be Charlie Brown and Lucy from Peanuts.

This guy is completely selfish and doesnt care about anything that his GF does. And youu can tell by the way he ALWAYS holds her, all he wants is the S-E-X word from her. tell her to get away from him!!!

  9. Nora A Says:

i thnk he wants her all to him self, and wants her to be what ever he wants her to be. you know what i mean? I would call that an unhealthy relationship, most probebly he doesnt have quality time with people who are most important to him, or they dont care about him, or maybe he has some one in his life you is really controlling. I obviously dont know, but try and see how his family treats him (if possible) or friends or w.e have u ever heard the saying ‘treat others the way you want to be treated’ well let me tell you : people treat others the way people treat them.

I can’t think of an easier way to put them together than hand stitching in a loose zig zag pattern so that the headband will stretch as it should. Tapes would not stretch like the headband does. Sticky material might catch her hair, pins will irritate her head. It sounds like she is going to look so cute in her little bumble bee costume. You won’t need to catch every crochet stitch, maybe every third or fourth, whipping it together in no time. Have fun.

One simple thing to fix: After a semi-colon, do not capitalize the first word (it’s not a new sentence). In terms of flow, what could help is using parallel structures in your clauses. that time I had to tie the day my mother wanted the night I turned the big green rectangle in a montage that turned out to be the surprise I gave my sister by making Another way to do it (and probably easier) is to break up the list. Give a few examples of things you’ve done in a list. Transition with a line about things you’ve personally benefitted from, then list a few. Transition with a line about things you’ve been able to give to others, then list a few. The opening line about the surefire day-brightener could be referenced again at the end (or modified at the beginning) to specify that it brightens your day, and others’.
