If you are looking for Crochet Doll then you are in the right place. Check out this review:
In this review of Crochet Doll, I’m going to show you both the good and the bad. After all, what’s a review without some honesty, right? First, I have to tell you upfront that Crochet Doll is my favorite choice. Sure, there’s other products in the same class, but frankly, none of them as good (in terms of quality). I do have to say this though. some other products may be better, but based on quality and price, Crochet Doll is the clear winner.
I need a pattern for a crochet Domo-kun doll?
I want to Crochet Doll make a mini Domo-kun doll or key chain, but I can't find a free pattern. Does anyone know where to find one?

Have you checked out Crochetpatterncentral.com? I always check there first! There are tons of doll clothes patterns there(see sources). If you see something you like but it’s not the right size you can probably adjust the pattern to make it work. Let me know if you need help doing that.Check out this thread on Crochetville, too, there was a whole discussion about doll clothes for 18″ dolls:http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=41666

I couldn’t find a free one but you could buy it fairly cheap at http://www.maggiescrochet.com for 10 care bears both cheer and share in it.Or you could find a basic bear pattern and make it look like a care bear. You can find free patterns for bears at crochetpatterncentral.comGood Luck

There are a lot of things that you could do:Stain it with coffee/tea or a watered down paint (think: watercolor or egg dye in a bowl)Use a rough sandpaper on it to “shred” some of the fibers, the fabric seams and hems, and leatherYou could even bury it in the garden for a week or two if you wanted something drastic (and then pop it in the washer!)Distress the fibers any way that you can by being very rough with it. Damage can always be slightly “repaired” and will further show its “age”.Good luck! I would love to see a photo of this doll!Barbglorrick@yahoo.com

My Grandmother Used to make those. She would make the round Flowers with the whole in the center than she would string them together throught the middle. This is the only pattern I can think of.Hope this helps.

Below are some links. I did not check Annie’s Attic, but I bet you dollars to doughnuts they have a slew of patterns.

Here are some sites with free doll patterns. I did not review the sites for sizes but you can browse them for exact or similar sizes:http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com/directory/dolls_clothes.phphttp://barbscraftbooks.tripod.com/barbscrochet/id34.htmlhttp://crafts.lovetoknow.com/wiki/Free_Crochet_Doll_PatternsThis forum is free to join. They probably have some also but you’ll need to search and they have a search option. They will be original patterns submitted by members:http://www.crochetville.org/forum/

Do you mean the cap like in this pic? http://store.americangirl.com/images/F6310_main_3.jpgIt appears to be circular motifs joined together and then finished with a scalloped edged band. If you are making this for a doll, i would used a baby sized pattern (or just a small hook to make the gauge smaller)First find a good pattern for crocheted circular doilies that are about 3 or 4 inches in diameter and then make 5 or so of them and then join 4 onto the middle (5th one) and then join the sides of each of the 4. This should make a bowl shape, if it doesn’t try it with more doilies. Then make an edge around the edge of the bowl. http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com/directory/doilies.phpI would suggest making a few scull caps to see how they are constructed.

I can assure you Disney does not release rights to small crafters where they have no product control. And I’m betting you if she pulled that on a larger, more regulated site like eBay they would have been yanked already. Thing is, the only thing she’s really risking at this point is a “cease and desist” so she’s probably going to do it until such time. One way to find out is just to report her – you’ll know soon enough if those items were removed or allowed to stay. Disney and Marvel are two of the biggest names to go after copyright issues.

I have several books on doll making One is the “Book of Doll Making” By Alica Merrett, most of the dolls in this book have some type of yarn hair some look like the Magic Cabin dolls they are lovely. But I will say that I have never seen a doll that the hair had to be knitted or crochet. It goes into detail on how to make a wig. I do not know if you live near a borders book store but I would make a trip to look in the craft section. Many books can be ordered on line at my favorite place.http://used.addall.com
