I had to buy several items just to realize that Stuffed Toy was the best choice for the price all along. The only negatives I’ve found were that there are better units available, but they are more expensive and the reviews I found on them were on the negative side. So here’s my final word. I 100% endorse Stuffed Toy and will even show you some places to get it even cheaper than retail.
Is a stuffed toy too weird for a guy's birthday gift?
He's 15. He's mysterious and quiet, but I won't be picking the one that Stuffed Toy seems like a children's toy if ever. I heard stuffed animals are memorable? Should I and if yes, what animal and how big? Should I not and if no, why and what else should I give him? Something not childish. Tiger? Bear? Puppy? Giraffe? Elephant?

My stuffed toy named “Pebbles” was given to me when I was three by my father, the very same day he passed away. Besides photos Pebbles is probably the only thing that reminds me of him, I would do anything at all to keep Pebbles safe. Give up anything at all that i needed to. Money, possessions you name it. I’d give it up for Pebbles

I was in Charleston S.C. about seven or eight years ago and saw someone at the old market with a stuffed toy resembling the CSA Hunley. It even unzipped so you could put little toy soldiers inside. (Sort of a grotesque element if you ask me.)Maybe you could call the museum there.

Cut open one of the seams (the one you’ll find easiest to sew back together) and take the stuffing out and ‘re-fluff’ it or add more cotton into your toy.

Your best plan is not getting the plush in a condition such that it needs cleaning, but since you’re already looking for cleaning information I guess it’s too late for that. So in the future keep your stuffe away from whatever soiled it this time — or vice versa. For surface cleaning you’ll want to use an upholstery cleaner or a mild detergent in water. We’ve had good success with the Woolite products, both detergent and upholstery cleaner. (Other people have told us that Woolite is terrible and horrible and should never be used on anything. Your Mileage May Vary) If you have very hard water you may want to use bottled water to clean with. Spot-cleaning products or alcohol may also be used for surface cleaning, but test such solvents very carefully.
