   Good day!My goodness, I had the same problem – it drove me insane!How to Fix the CrashingFirst of all, I’d suggest hitting the start Menu>YourName, and navigating to the files you want to import. Then, open up your Windows Movie Maker. Try dragging the gif/mp4/orwhateverelseyouhave in to the timeline from the opened file.Let me repeat that. Open up the file you want on a seperate window, then drag it on your timeline.That’s what fixed mine.But!A few days later, it did the same thing again, so if it didn’t work just to drag it, then read on!As it kept crashing, I got madder and madder and madder, and just when I thought I was about to explode with anger, I gave up.And that helped me.Don’t panic, I didn’t give up WMM, I gave up exploding.Here’s what I did:I looked through all my imported media folders in WMM, and made copies of them on to the desktop. (If your thinking ‘My God, she’s insane, I’ve got thousands of folders!!!’ then keep in mind that I have 57 folders total I had to copy)Then, I went to the start menu and looked for WMM, and uninstalled it.Yes, uninstalled it. It was fine though!And after that, it worked.:)If it’s still not working, it might be because you don’t have enough memory space, you have viruses, or just that WMM is outdated.This is my first answer on Yahoo, so I hope it helped!WannaHaveChocolate
