I usually buy from Hancock Fabrics or Joanne Fabrics. They have stores in many places. I have found that Hancock Fabrics usually has a better selection of fancy dress making fabrics. Look for a fabric warehouse in your area. They have tons of every kind of fabric and may let you have a swatch for very little. I know Denver Fabrics will send swatches and has nice fabric.. I know you didn’t want websites, but just in case you want to take a look… try http://www.hancock fabrics.com
