This is exactly what I was looking for. Doll Dress is awesome and was the best investment I ever made.
How to dress as a doll for halloween?
I want to be a pretty, porcelain doll for halloween (with my friends). Doll Dress I have the cute makeup planned out, with the big eyes and everything. But I don't want to have to wear a big fluffy dress! How do I wear something true to my costume thats also cute and easy? What do dolls wear?

hehehee, i’ve totally done the shirt thing as a dress!…i usually just wear a pair of flats. i love the ones i got from rite aid (especially because they were about three bucks) but if you like to spend lots of money most high end stores carry some sort of flat…i’m not quite sure if you wanted more of a descriptive answer but hope this helped!

it’s called an empire waist line, when it stops just above the natural waist and flows out from there. hope that helps.

I would curl your hair and put a bow on the top, I would wear a cute dress with a little white apron, wear a cute pair of black mary jane shoes with knee high (white) socks. I cant think of anything else. Good Luck!

Baby doll dresses are OK as long as they are an appropriate length. i would wear green, blue or yellow heels and depending on the cut wear jewelry that dresses the outfit up. also take into consideration that you will be dancing(hopefully) so make sure it fits well and doesn’t expose anything. good luck

i think the pants would ruin the dress. why dont u try tights. for shoes you might wanna try high heels. the dress sounds gorgeous though.

I have a book called The Doll Book, by Estelle Worrel. Mine was an old library copy, but you might be able to find one on Amazon. It has doll patterns for clothes from the 1600′s on.
