Well, I would look for dolls that are not mass produced in China, etc. At least in terms of resale value, names like Madame Alexander, Effanbee, etc. tend to hold and often increase in value, while nameless varities do not.

I’d try and wear the most sheer and ‘light’ black possible …ie: not a very opaque stocking. Buy a classic black stilletto. Don’t get a peep toe shoe with stockings.

Defiently bring the vodka, and wear the babydoll gown, and some lacy undies.
The next day, you should go for a stroll through the park, and go out to eat at a nice resturant. It will be very romantic.Good Luck!Have fun.:)

Lots of those older dolls were made by people who dealt a lot of ceramics. If you know anyone in your area who make dolls should be able to make you one. Here is an example of someone I saw online: http://www.rosesdolls.com/ Hope this helps! Best wishes!

Peaches N Cream Barbie came out in the 80s. The other doll from the commercial could be the African American Peaches N Cream Barbie. Just seen the Peaches N Cream Barbie commercial for myself. It was done in 84. The only other doll seen was Peaches N Cream Ken.

i’m not sure if you can actually buy those dolls because i hear they were custom made for the music video. From wikipedia: The ball-joint doll that is shown was customized by Pepstar, a user on denofangels.com
