Famous Couples Fashion Doll Patterns: 20 Patterns (Paperback) by Hazel McMahon. These are “fashion doll” patterns which I’m assuming are about 12 inches.http://search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/results.asp?WRD=Famous+Couples+Fashion+Doll+Patterns&z=yThese patterns may include the frock coat you want to do. I do not know what the patterns look like but one of these may fit the description: Mr. D’Arcy & Miss Elizabeth Bennet; Young Queen Victoria and her Prince Albert; an Edwardian couple; or possibly Edward VIII & Mrs. SimpsonThis book can be found at the big book stores like Barnes and Noble so you can check out the patterns before you purchase it.

Here are some sites with free doll patterns. I did not review the sites for sizes but you can browse them for exact or similar sizes:http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com/directory/dolls_clothes.phphttp://barbscraftbooks.tripod.com/barbscrochet/id34.htmlhttp://crafts.lovetoknow.com/wiki/Free_Crochet_Doll_PatternsThis forum is free to join. They probably have some also but you’ll need to search and they have a search option. They will be original patterns submitted by members:http://www.crochetville.org/forum/
