Looking for a Leisure Arts leaflet #191 - Baby's Best to Knit and Crochet. Do you have a copy?
The designs are by Helen Passey, and the brochure was published in 1981. There is a woman holding a baby on Crochet Leaflet the front cover, and the afghan is a combination granny square/ripple pastel rainbow & white. I would like to buy the leaflet or get the instructions for the rainbow afghan & layette set, if you have it. I've checked Ebay and haven't been successful winning a copy - they only have one left. Amazon has one copy for $25.00 - too steep for me. Any help - or should I just try to wing the design from the pic?

Since this is the pattern you wanted from it, you can buy it from LA itself. In the online catalog area, look under Crochet, then under Baby. It is item #8000006 and it is only $2.99, it is cute, I will definitely buy it myself someday LOL. Thanks to Jennie, I found this. 1) Try eBay. If you don’t find it at first, keep checking.2) Find as many craft-related forums as you can, and post your question in each of them. Eventually you’ll probably run across someone who has a copy.3) Google phrases like “mccalls vintage patterns” or “mccalls out of print patterns”. You’ll probably find a lot of online stores that specialize in that stuff. Email the owners and ask if they keep a “wish list” for customers like you.I hope one of these suggestions will pay off for you.
