What can i crochet with multi-colored yarn?
You know, something that won't look patternless or all messy with colors. The yarn is from Red Crochet Heart Heart and is a mix of pink, dark brown, and tan colors. It also needs to be something easy that can only be done with single and double crochet stitches (my sister will be doing it and she's 12. she only knows hows to single stitch but I'm gonna teach her doubles).

That will set you up for round 17, it’s an easier and cleaner way to get to the next round without having to make alot of slip stitches to get set up for the next round, make sense now??? :) Good luck!!!

If the pattern was on a skein of Red Heart yarn then you should go to http://www.RedHeart.com they would have the free pattern on their website. If that’s not the case, look at the first link below, it might be what you are looking for, it sounds similar.Otherwise, the second link is to Crochet Pattern Central’s Scarf page, you can check them out and see if any of them are what you are looking for.

I have found three patterns for a heart afghan. on two of them you could make the hearts in the popcorn stitch and attach it to the afghan. The other is with the heart in the afghan and you would have to figure out how to convert the pattern to accommodate the popcorn making the hearts. You could possibly make the hearts larger and not put too many on the afghan If you want this info- e-mail me and I will send the one you want.

Can you knit socks? You can make weird and wonderful socks. You can make rude and crude socks. If you get bored after just one, you can use to to make sock toys. See the links below for ideas.Sock toys can also be formed with zippered compartments to hold cellphones or whatever. :-)

Red Heart is an acryllic yarn and there isn’t much you can do to change its texture. Washing it may help, but putting it in the dryer, softener sheets or not, changes it permanently and it loses its hand, because the heat causes it to lose its *memory* or spring. It is this way with all acryllic yarns. While it will feel *softer* it also will not bounce back when stretched and will be limp. Your recourse here? Either return it and save the money for a different yarn, or use it for an afghan rather than scarves.

this is a very sad story but one that i can relate to.my grandfather and great aunt used to collect postage stamps and when they died in the 60′s and 70′s these collections passed to my mother.when she died in the 90′s nobody in my family wanted these collections and they would have been thrown into the dustbin had i not intervened.these collections are now in my possession.i have no interest in them personally but i would not simply discard them or give them away.i keep them for posterity,i don’t know how much they are worth and quite simply don’t want to know.they may not be 200 years old like your items but they have as much sentimental value to me as your items have to you.i say keep them in your possession,do not give them away light heartedly, they are a part of your family just as much as your children and grandchildren and when your time is up leave them in your will to someone who will cherish them as much as you have
