Ok, let us first start with a review of Crochet Magazine:
I was impressed with Crochet Magazine plain and simple. When I placed my order, I had in in my hands within 3 days and the price was great. The key is looking for a seller with over a 100 feedback rating on Ebay. I’ve even included the top Ebay listings to Crochet Magazine in this review to make it even easier on you.
Can anyone help me to find Crochet Magazine DMC Special #10 Crochet magazine.?

Check these out. “Magic crochet” and “Decorative crochet” have charts. I find those so much easier.

Just typed Herrschners into Google and first hit was what you were looking for. Does anyone try doing those things or is it easier to have someone else do the legwork? Your crochet yarn (thread) can be bought from there too. As for the catalog, scroll to the bottom of Herrschner’s site and it says ‘request a catalog’.

If you actuallly work the pattern instead of trying to read it, it will probably make sense. When you sc the 20 stitches of row 3, you will finish at the same end that the extra stitches are left. You simply sc into the first of these stitches to make a tuck in the work and form the shape, then sc to the end. In fact, you are working two long rows, 2 short rows, two long rows etc. The work is forming fsideways, not around the head. Like this, only the short rows actually join each other. The left side will be the top, the right will be the opening.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

I checked Ravelry.com which a knitting/crochet website with over 1 million users and no gingerbread patterns came up for free. You might just be out of luck or maybe this would be a great time to design your own.

At this point, I say file a small claims lawsuit for the breach of contract. Even if the magazine went out of business, as long as you have written proof (as in your contract) along with signatures that you are owed a certain amount of money for your designs being published, then you have a case. Your items WERE published and for the magazine to do that, you would have to be paid.I cannot stress enough to have all paperworks, your designs and the actual issues of the magazine to back yourself up should you take this to court.

I learned how to crochet when I was 7 years old. I can do almost anything with crocheting. I do not need a pattern all I need is a pichure. I taught myself how to read the patterns. I have not come across one that I can not read. I like doing my own creations though. Check out the wedding dress I made. It took forever seems like. My arms don’t work like they use to. http://loveofcrochet.tripod.com

I think it’s called Magic Crochet. Someone asked about it a couple of months ago and the only place I located it was on e-bay. I can give you the address if you e-mail me and see if they are still in business. The only reason I know is I have about 20 copies of the books and the patterns in them are something to behold.

That pattern may not need to be changed. The bust circumference of a finished pattern isn’t your bust size measurement, it allows for some ease or extra space around the body. Unless you want this sweater to fit like skin, work it according to pattern, since as it is it will give you what is called a *close fit*. There’s only 1.5 inches of difference, it won’t allow for much under it other than a chemise or a teddy.

Ummm… The reason you are having trouble with finding a way to subscribe for “Crochet with Heart” magazine is because Leisure Arts doesn’t publish it anymore.Leisure Arts stopped publishing “Crochet with Heart” quite a while ago. If you would like to buy back issues of the magazine…they often can be found at garage sales or resale stores. I also found a site for you where they can be purchased on line.Leisure Arts also has different “best of…” books from the magazine that you can buy on line or at a craft store.Sorry…hope this helps.

It’s called the Art of Crochet. If you can’t find it elsewhere you can subscribe online – it’s published by hachette. Enter ‘hachette partworks’ in your browser to find it and subscribe. I’ve just done it myself so can’t tell you how good it is yet, but I’m having a baby and wanted to get creative!!

Are you counting the “turning” spaces in the round?

about.com has a lot of crochet patterns, so you might want to try there.http://www.caronyarn.comhttp://www.lionbrandyarn.comIf you can’t find the pattern, email me at djsmith_38456@yahoo.com, and I will see if I have it in my library of craft books.
