help with a crochet pattern?
Hello,I am trying to crochet this shawl:http://www.freevintagecrochet.com/shawls/fantasy-shawl-pattern.htmlThe problem is that I end up having a rhombus Crochet Fantasy or diamond shape and not a rectangle as I should. Both left and right sides come out parallel to each other but diagonal to the upper and bottom sides (leaning to the right if looking from the draw side). I think I understand the pattern and I am doing all the stitches correctly so I do not know what I might be doing wrong. Someone to give me a hand? Thanks a lot

Crossword puzzles are a great hobby to do together and you don’t have to do it all at once There are some really good puzzles available now that would certainly be challenging. Here is a link for marymaxim catalogue store. Click on puzzles just to see the variety that are available now. No more castles or bridges!

At this point, I say file a small claims lawsuit for the breach of contract. Even if the magazine went out of business, as long as you have written proof (as in your contract) along with signatures that you are owed a certain amount of money for your designs being published, then you have a case. Your items WERE published and for the magazine to do that, you would have to be paid.I cannot stress enough to have all paperworks, your designs and the actual issues of the magazine to back yourself up should you take this to court.

I’d suggest buying a vest pattern and using that, lengthened, for what you want. Butterick B5053 is a good vest pattern if you leave out the sleeves and band; B5154 would also work for a more closely fitting garment if you shorten it and divide the center panel down the middle. In either case, the choice of fabric is going to have a lot to do with how “form fitting” the garment appears. Choose something with a fair amount of weight and good drape, like a Slinky or a woven rayon.
