I guess you are talking about yarn and not thread. Here is a site for you to look at and use it to put edgings around the article you have finished. What you should do when you have finished the article is to cit the thread and use your hook or needle and pull the thread through the last stitch on your nedle. then use your crochet needle to weave it through several stitches in one directiona dn then reverse the weaving. However if you are going to make an edging don’t do that unless you are going to use a different color of yarn. Hi–hopefully this will help you a little, though it may not be what you’re looking for. The link below is to the Crochet Guild of America’s lists of all crochet and craft magazines currently available. If you’ll scroll down, you’ll notice the note that Magic Crochet magazine is an English version of a French magazine, with very limited distribution in the US. In fact, another page I checked reported that Magic Crochet wasn’t affiliated with their magazine distribution network at all anymore, which may explain why you stoppeed receiving offers for it. Anyway, perhaps one of the others on the list below will be of use to you.

You could ch2 and then work 6 sc into the first ch and sl st into the beginning sc to finish off. It would eliminate doing your sc into a joined beginning chain or using the magic ring.If you have any questions you can email me.
